God with us!

Is God absent in the world? God is not absent! God is never far from us. In the event of challenges and the realities of the world (e.g problem of the existence of evil) people doubt his existence or question his love and power. However, the problem is not with God, The problem is with us (humans).
first, some people fail to acknowledge God even though there is a consciousness of him in our hearts. God has been searching for us, but in our limited knowledge, we have been the one's far from him. Some people do all it takes to avoid or hide from God. They feel dirty and bad to stand before him. Some are just 'too' busy for the work of God. Some people are deep asleep to hear God speak to them, quite a many are busy in pursuit of pleasure and ephemeral happiness!
Majority are so angry with God for all the misfortune in the world. They blame God for allowing the righteous suffer whilst the wicked prosper, they blame God for the earthquake, famine, death, political unrest, and even the threat of global warming in the world.
I once heard  the story of a Man whose mother was sick and in the blink of dying, he went to the church and beg God to safe the mum, he even promised to serve God if the mother is saved, but unfortunately the mother passed on. This man vowed never to go to church again, and spite those who pray to God. The bitterness of the heart has eaten deep in his soul.
who is God? God is a spirit, the father of spirits! the creator of heaven and earth, God is glorious in holiness, fearful in praises. he is the highest! that which nothing greater can be thought of. God is a mystery, he is confounded in mystery. God is truth. He is a God who in  his power became man in Christ Jesus, through which he felt our pain, suffered our needs and fought our temptation. Jesus experienced in  his lifetime on earth what man is experiencing!
Where is God? God is with us. Jesus promised mankind and believers the baptism of the Holy spirit, to comfort us, guide us and lead us in all our doings here on earth. The gift of the holy spirit is the most treasured gift of God to us here on earth. It is the powerful active force of God in our life. When you receive the holy spirit you are open to the light of God, it will help you understand the mystery behind the word. The word is in Christ Jesus. Selah!

The Best things in life are free ---my top 11

The best things in life are free! The rat race in life steals that from us. Caught up in this race, we forget to take a moment to reflect and experience some of the best things that are just within our reach. Instead we cry foul on what we don’t have, and pursue what we think is necessary to have.

Herein I list eleven (11) of the many things that make life beautiful which we don’t take time to reflect upon, perhaps because they’re FREE, Some of them seem so ordinary, but hey! They are priceless. If you have any problem with any, let me know and please, educate me on yours.
in no particular order...

1.      A good laugh ---- No one pays to laugh, you just beat it and LAUGH IT OFF! You don’t even need to go to a comedy show… we have so many reasons to laugh in our everyday lives!.

2.       A Serene Smile ----practically free of charge. Makes you cute too!

3.      A nice real Chat with someone interesting! It costs nothing; just find someone interesting with good breath!

4.      Hugs ---it’s a cold world, everyone needs a hug! So simple to carry out ---just open your arms, (no strings attached oo!) make sure you smell well though! You don’t even need a cologne, perfume or deodorant (so you won’t say it costs money to buy). Just keep a clean, nice bath routine and a good breath. I give and take hugs a lot, so I consider myself an expert in it. lol! Trust me! Add a soft peck to it. Remember say kisses sef follow for best things, but wait until you don marry sha!... *winks*... Abeg! No break my head o! na play!

5.      Memories -----one of the best gifts of the brain is memory. Reflecting on those good old days is free, you don’t pay per second. I think of a good past each day. Some I smile, others I sigh…but hey! It’s all good. I love them all…

6.      Sleep -----the soul is calm when you sleep right. This cost you nothing, just close your eyes…you’ll slowly fall asleep -- in a second you’ll be awake in a refreshed mode. How much did you pay? Pause the Hustle and take a nap abeg! Wake up and continue your hustle with a refreshed rigor. Hustle go pay! Walia!

7.      Behold the moon and the starry sky ---my two year old little nephew, stares steadily at the moon every single night…what amazement I see in his eyes! Tap from the sight of the moon…it uplift your sense of wonder! And boy o boy! It’s so freeeeeeeeee.

8.      Spend quality time with your family and love ones! Don’t miss anything for this. It’s easy to get caught up in life and forget some of the priceless people in our life…they are our utmost reason to hustle in the first place.

9.      Say something Nice to someone every day! It’s easy, just look at their bright side…never fake it! Be sincere when commending or complimenting someone. They take it home. Remember it’s free, shebi Na you get your mouth! Who you wan come pay to? You may not know this, but saying nice things to people, as it boost their esteem, also boost your self-image. Now you pay nothing for boosting your own image. It’s free.

10.  Have a quite time with yourself alone----instead of consulting an I.T.K (I too know) psychologist, why not consult yourself. I do this always; it’s fun and helps you discover yourself! Meditate, and ideas will flow like a stream. Use a mirror to talk to yourself, it may seem weird but it’s fun, adventurous, and draws you nearer to a super power. And congratulation! No consultation fee. It’s FREE!

11.  Find someone special and pass through love    

These are not all there is, you can discover for yourself! And please let me know yours…me sef wan save money and still get the best things out of life.

clean slate

Woke up one morning, stepped into the bathroom and then...'gbam'!
totally forgets what you came in there for.
standing 'confused' you looked around,
oblivious of things in there...

you touched yourself and wondered what you were...
you looked at an object by the wall and saw something
staring back at you!
Confused you needed help, but you don't know how to express that,
you remembered nothing...your mind, a tabula rasa. a clean slate.
you cant make a move, cos you don't know how.

...then you heard something. 

Suddenly an object like yourself appears, you looked on, curious of it. 

She mumbled something at you and continued staring into an object
that reflects something exactly like herself, you were marveled.
She stepped out...and you hurriedly did learn to walk...
you followed her...into another world!
Different from the bathroom!

A 'crawling' thing jumped at you
 and wangles its tail.
you were completely as a child.
you moved on surveying all...
Then 'gbam'!...

you suddenly remembered who you were. a being!
where you were. your house!
someone entered and greeted  'good morning'
you replied cheerfully but wondered how you got standing there
at the first place...
you completely forget
'what just happened'

beyond the shores

 Nkem, son of the soil

 had a vision

 a dream planted as a seed

 unable to see it fruitful here

 He left on a journey beyond the shores

 He made a move for a greener pasture

 the parents sold their inherited portion

 handed it to him

 on a journey beyond the shore

with a grim of fear and hope he leaves

bid his siblings farewell

sees a life waiting for him

a vision with assurance of success

He left his kingdom…takes his ‘bag’

for a second path

beyond the shores

Note: how many dreams have we lost to the shores?

because of our undirected government

how many bag filled with numerous talents

have slipped away from us?

the beautiful ones are born but ignored

they take another path

and still meet us where they left … 

pandora's box

 Such Pandora he never asked for

 Such reality he refuses to believe

 The ecstasy of truth gushes out in him

 Yet he seize to believe

 It gets dark he looks for light

 The stage is set

 For his heart to bear

 Yet He seems prepare less

 The other day he feels love

 Today it’s pain!

 Plain to see

 What will tomorrow be?  

 He live a recluse

 He’s happy they say

 Searching for a complete life

 Made a wish…

 And all he gets is Pandora's box!
